How to Remove and Replace a Piston and Connecting Rod on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

In order to change piston and connecting rod, take out the cylinder head, oil pan and the Balance Shaft Carrier Assembly. Install ridge reamer, connect rod cap marking, and loosen bolts. Install new connecting rod cap, bolts, and lubricate components, install new piston rings. Check the engine after starting it by reassembling and checking the leaks.
