2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Seat Belt Parts and Q&A
- Q: How to Maintain the Rear Center Seat Belt and Retractor on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?A: You should first press down the tab of the Quick Connect Anchor to get it off, then take out the seat bezel and cut away the trimming above the seat back. After the seat backs are locked and the cable removed, undo the bolt that holds the retractor. Pass the retractor's webbing and hardware through the frame of the seat to get rid of it. Run the webbing and the retractor hardware through the legs of the seat frame and set the bolt on the retractor to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.). Attach the locking cable to the retractor, release the hold on the seat back, straighten the rear seat back cover, mount the seat bezel and connect the Quick Connect Anchor at last.
