How to Service the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To work on the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, release the air cleaner lid, lift it and put it where you need it. Completely remove the electrical connector and the negative battery cable from the sensor before removing the sensor itself from the clean air duct. First, put the sensor back in the air inlet tube, connect the electrical connector to the sensor, reconnect the negative battery cable and lastly attach the lid to the air cleaner.
