After that, unfasten the nut and bolt holding the lower end of the sway bar link to the stabilizer bar, then remove the bolt keeping the link attached to the frame rail to remove the sway bar link from the car. You should install the sway bar link and begin the bolt that holds the link to the frame rail, without tightening it at this point. After that, connect the lower bolt to the lower end of the sway bar link and its nut to the stabilizer bar, both loose for now. Hold the tire in place and attach the wheel mounting nuts to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.) before you lower the vehicle. After that, tighten both the upper and lower sway bar link bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
