2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wiper Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service the Wiper Switch on the Right Multi-Function Control on 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: After you unhook and insulate the battery's negative terminal, allow the system reserve capacitor two minutes to drain before modifying air bag or steering column parts. Take both the upper and lower shrouds off the steering column and get rid of the screw holding the right multi-function switch on the Steering Column Control module. Simply straighten the switch free of the module to access and disconnect the electrical connector. With the switch out, fasten the new multi-function switch at the back of the Steering Column Control Module and attach the switch connector. Put the switch in line with the module, push it toward the steering column and attach the screw to secure it. After that, slide the upper and lower shrouds back onto the steering column and attach the negative battery cable.
