A: To replace the Engine Control Module (PCM) connect the negative battery cable and unplug the 38-way connectors. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the PCM. Reinstall new PCM, positioning and torque. Check for any damage to the connectors, re-connect and reprogram the PCM with the vehicles VIN and mileage.
