How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Window Regulator on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

The first step to servicing the rear door window regulator is to take out the waterdam. Lift up the glass and place the clip on the door panel into the hole there. Take a long flat or hook-type tool to remove the clip attaching the glass retainer to the regulator lift plate, disconnect the glass from the lift plate and then put the clip back in place. Hold the glass in place above with a wooden wedge, tape or something similar. After that, remove the bolts and detach the runout tube clip before taking out the regulator. To install the system, place the bolts onto the regulator area lightly and then install the regulator area. Place the runout tube clip back in, then tighten its bolts to 9 N.m using the specified steps. At the end, lift off the glass support, set the glass on the regulator lift plate and attach the waterdam again.
