2007 Chrysler Pacifica TPMS Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a TPMS Sensor on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before servicing or repairing the tire pressure sensor, lift the vehicle and support it, then get the three wheel mounting nuts and the whole tire and wheel assembly off. The valve stem cap is essential due to its O-ring seal that protects the valve from contaminants and moisture, so don't use any other type of cap. It is important to replace the original nickel plated brass core in the aluminum valve stem to lower the risk of corrosion. Unmount the tire from the wheel following the manufacturer's suggestions, so your pressure sensor remains safe. The wires for the sensor should not be within the area the Bead Breaker gets closest to the tire. While dismounting, tilt the mounting/dismounting tool at the valve stem by approximately 10° for both beads. When finished, remove the sensor nut maintaining the sensor in place, press behind the metal valve stem to keep it from going backward and hurting the antenna strap and then remove the sensor from the wheel.
