2007 Dodge Dakota Engine Mount Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Properly Install an Engine Mount with Threadlocking Compound on 2007 Dodge Dakota?
A: Before connecting the engine mount, grease the bolts with threadlocking compound first. First, put in the two bolts that yoke the mount to the bracket and tighten them with 61 Nm (45 ft.lbs. of torque). After that, drop the transmission until the transmission mount rests on the crossmember, with the studs sitting in the labeled sections. Then, set the nuts onto the studs of the transmission mounts which you can access through the crossmember slot and apply torque of 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
