2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500 HVAC Pressure Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair an HVAC Pressure Switch on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500?
A: Whenever the HVAC pressure switch is removed, first replace the O-ring to prevent any leaks in the refrigerant system when servicing or repairing the Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch. Coat a new O-ring seal in clean R-134a-recommended oil and attach it to the switch's fitting (3). Make sure you use only the recommended O-ring and oil for the A/C system. Put the HVAC pressure switch into the tapping block (4) at the left end of the A/C condenser (1) and tighten it to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.). After that, fit the wire harness connector (2) onto the HVAC pressure switch and then connect the negative battery cable once more. Evacuate the system and then go on to charge the refrigerant.
