How to Properly Install a Door Hinge on the Rear Door on 2007 Jeep Commander?

Before securing the rear door hinge, set it onto the door, so you know an adjustment may be necessary should the washers on the door hinge come loose from the epoxy. If removed, fit in the epoxy bonded washers (1) and only partly fit the nuts (4) that keep the hinges on the door. Replace the hinges in the door, using your previous marks as a reference and fasten each one to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.). Slide the rear door into the body and use a proper tool to hold up the door while you place and loosen the five bolts securing the door hinges to the B-pillar. After the rear door is correctly aligned, fasten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Solder the rear door wire harness to the body wire harness and then attach the negative battery cable again. Should you find the need, adjust the rear door.
