2007 Jeep Liberty Brake Caliper Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Safely Remove and Replace a Brake Caliper on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: To take out and install the brake caliper, you should first lift the vehicle and take the wheel and tire off. With a clean suction gun, take out a small bit of fluid from the master cylinder brake reservoir. Press each caliper piston into the caliper and move it over. Remove the main bolts holding the caliper and lift the caliper off its mount, taking care it doesn't dangle from the brake hose. Now, remove both inboard and outboard brake pads and following that, take out all the caliper adapter mounting bolts.
