2007 Jeep Liberty Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Brake Master Cylinder on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: Before changing the Brake Master Cylinder, make sure you bleed it if you have recently replaced it. First, wipe the cylinder mounting part of the brake booster with a rag. Now, fix the master cylinder onto the brake booster studs and attach it using the mounting nuts, ensuring the force is 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.). After that, join the brake lines to the master cylinder and tighten them to 20 Nm (180 in. lbs.). Next, plug in the fluid level electrical connector to its place on the reservoir. You should also bleed and run fluid through the main part of the braking system.
