How to Service and Repair a Harmonic Balancer on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

The harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley should be serviced or repaired after disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then, remove the accessory drive belt, remembering that the transmission cooler line clips into the lower right-hand corner of the shroud. With the crankshaft harmonic balancer bolt removed, insert Special Tool 8513 and use Special Tool 1026 to take out the harmonic balancer.
