In order to service the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley, it is necessary to disconnect the negative cable of the battery and the accessory drive belt. Install Special Tools to lift and fit the damper into place and clean it accordingly. Tighten the damper bolt in 175 Nm, then put the belt back and attach the battery.
