For Special Tool 8512A, start by screwing the nut onto the shaft, then insert the threaded rod with the roller bearing onto the shaft, with the hardened surface facing the nut and slide the hardened washer onto the threaded rod. Brush the threads of the threaded rod with either Mopar Nickel Anti-Seize or LoctiteNo. 771. Trim out the space around the damper with Special Tool 8512A, then screw the crankshaft damper bolt in and tighten it to 175 Nm (130 ft. lbs.). After that, place the accessory drive belt back onto the fan and secure the negative cable to the battery.
