2008 Chrysler Aspen Crankshaft Seal Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Crankshaft Seal on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?
A: Battery safety comes first, disconnect the negative cable from your battery when servicing or repairing the front crankshaft seal. After that, eliminate the accessory drive belt and then remove the fasteners securing the A/C compressor. Drain the cooling system and afterward detach the upper radiator hose. Remember that the transmission cooler line connects into the shroud's lower right-hand corner before you remove the radiator shroud and unplug the fan connector inside. Removing the radiator cooling fan and shroud is the step that follows. Remove the damper bolt and lift the old damper by pressing 1026 Three Jaw Puller into Crankshaft Insert 8513. Afterwards, use Crankshaft Front Seal Remover 8511 to remove the front crankshaft seal.
