  A: Before servicing or repairing the rear blower motor, take the cover off the front center floor console. Break the connection with the red cable going from the negative battery. After that, detach the wire connectors from the blower motor module at the rear and the rear mode door actuator, then pull the wire harness out of the support bracket on the rear console (7). Lift the console out of the floor console base and duct assembly by removing the eight screws securing the console supports to the floor area. If the four screws (4) are removed from the rear blower motor housing (5) clamps on the floor console base and duct assembly, it can be taken off and set on a bench to work on. Untie the wire harness connector at the back of the power module from the rear blower motor and take out all the retaining clips and the three screws that bind the housing. Open up the lower rear blower motor area, remove the blower motor wire harness and grommet and take the rear blower motor away. If you must, take out the center console mode-air doors (4) from underneath the rear blower motor housing.
