How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose for a 2.4L Engine for Supply Hose on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first step in fixing or repairing the 2.4L's power steering supply hose is to drain most of the fluid from the power steering reservoir. Then, unbolt the front grille of your car and get rid of the hood-opening weather-strip you see on the radiator closing panel. Separate the fastener and ambient temperature sensor from the radiator closure panel, plus the fasteners holding the upper radiator closure panel in place which should then be detached. After that, undo the clamp holding the hose to the pump supply fitting and take the hose off the power steering pump. Take off the clamp that ties the hose to the fluid reservoir, slide the hose off the reservoir end and bring it out of the car.
