How to Detach a Rear Shock Absorber on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To remove the rear shock absorber, get the car in the air, remove the three wheel mounting nuts and take the rear tire and wheel off. Situate a transmission jack underneath the center of the axle and raise it up till the axle is sheltered. Then, take out the shock absorber lower mounting bolt, nut and washer on the axle. After that, take off the shock absorber's upper mounting bolt and pull the shock absorber from the vehicle.
