How to Remove a Crankshaft Seal on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?

The first step to removing the front crankshaft seal is to take off the crankshaft sprocket. Following that, press down on the dowel pin until it comes loose on the crankshaft. When using Special Tool 6341A, make sure not to scratch the seal's surface on the crankshaft or on the seal bore during removal. The lip on the shaft seal must never be dirty, varnished or have nicks, so wipe it and polish it with a 400 grit paper when needed.
