For evaporator core maintenance and repair, move the rear heater-A/C housing away and keep it on a safe workbench during the task. Remove the rear heater-A/C housing to find the rear A/C evaporator. Carefully take the A/C evaporator from the rear heater-A/C housing in the car and discard both seals. Install plugs in or place tape over the openings in both the refrigerant lines and the back evaporator and expansion valves.
