  • Q: How to Safely Service the A/C Switch in a Manual Temperature Control System on 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500?
    A: Servicing the manual temperature control can be performed after disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable, disabling the air bags and waiting two minutes for the air bag capacitor to clear. Disconnect the cable marked with a negative sign first. After that, take out the center bezel from the instrument panel. After that, remove the four screws holding the A/C-heater control to the instrument panel. Responsibly pull the A/C-heater control all the way out of the instrument panel. Release the retaining tab and take out the blend door control cable from the back of the A/C heater control. Insert the blade of a small tool into the slot and press to free the wire harness connector from the lock. After that, take the wire harness connectors out of the A/C-heater control at the back and remove the control from the car.
