If you're only changing the evaporator, add 60 milliliters (about 2 fluid ounces) of recommended refrigerant oil into the system. Every time the A/C expansion valve is pulled out, the replacement of refrigerant line O-ring seals is required to prevent refrigerant leaks. Install the evaporator first, fixing it into the air conditioner area in the lower half of the HVAC housing (3).
