2008 Dodge Viper Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove the Brake Master Cylinder on 2008 Dodge Viper?
A: Before you start, check that the engine is off and pump the brake pedal several times to let any vacuum air escape the power brake booster. Pull back the hood and remove the battery negative (-) terminal. After that, separate the wire coming from the brake fluid level switch and remove the primary and secondary tubes from the brake master cylinder, finishing with plugs at each tube's opening. Finally, pull off the two nuts attaching the brake master cylinder to the power brake booster and move the brake master cylinder away and out of the booster.
