  A: Put the heater core at the top of the HVAC housing during the install. Then, set in place the heater core tube bracket and the retaining screw and fasten it to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Following that, install the foam seal. Set the blend door actuator into the top part of the HVAC housing and turn it slightly to match the splines on its shaft with those on the blend door pivot shaft. Fasten the blend door actuator to the HVAC housing with screws, turning them until you reach 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) and attach the wire harness connector to the actuator. If switching out your heater core, make sure to flush the cooling system. After that, fit the housing assembly onto the frame.
