2008 Dodge Viper A/C Accumulator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove the A/C Accumulator in an HVAC System on 2008 Dodge Viper?
A: First, disconnect the cable connected to the negative battery, after which remove the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Lift and support the vehicle and take out the right front wheel. Following that, you should remove the ideal inner fender splash shield. Take the wire harness connector off the low pressure switch for the A/C system. Take out the bolts connecting the two ends of the A/C suction line to the accumulator. Cut away the A/C suction lines from the accumulator and toss out the O-ring seals. Unscrew the two nuts holding the A/C accumulator to the front fender and pull out the accumulator. After that, place plugs in or tape over the suction line fittings and the accumulator ports and remove the low pressure switch connected to the A/C accumulator if needed.
