Begin by fixing the actuator rods onto the rear door latch and engaging the retainers if the door latch has been removed. Assemble the rear door latch and actuator rods inside the door so the lock knob rod fits through the inner panel's hole. Secure the rear door latch to the door with three bolts and turn them to a tightness of 10.5 Nm (95 in. lbs.). Start by plugging the rear door wire harness connector into the rear door latch and then put the interior handle actuator rod on the latch with its retainer engaged. Following that, fit the actuator rod into the retractor handle on the back exterior wall. After putting the watershield at the rear door, move the rear door latch into the correct position.
