  A: First, let the fuel system pressure go and place the vehicle in an area with lots of fresh air and do not get close to fire or smoke to make sure you stay safe. Use shop towels to cover the hose so gas leaks are caught. Remove the negative battery cable first; when that's done, take out the fuel line from the fuel rail in accordance with the Quick Connect Fittings instructions. Disconnect each fuel injector's electrical connectors after taking out the fuel line, then remove the wiring harness from the fittings on the fuel rail. After that, undo the 2 bolts that hold the fuel rail in place and then take out the fuel rail and all of the injectors from the intake manifold. After that, detach the fuel injectors from the fuel rail.
