How to Remove and Replace Brake Pads on the Front Wheels on 2009 Dodge Dakota?

Before changing the front brake pads, raise and support your vehicle and take out the wheel and tire assemblies. Close the calliper and then remove both caliper slide pin bolts. After that, separate the caliper from the adapter, making sure the brake hose does not hold up the caliper. Support the caliper, take out the brake pad inside the caliper and take out the brake pad on the outside afterwards. The last step is removing the anti-rattle clips from the pad.
