How to Service the Right Wiper Switch on 2009 Jeep Commander?

To service the multifunction switch, disable the Supplemental Restraint System by disconnecting the battery negative cable and waiting two minutes. Remove the steering column shrouds, unscrew the switch from the mounting bracket, slide it away, and disconnect the jumper wire harness to remove the switch.
