How to Service and Repair the A/C Hose on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

When working on the A/C liquid line of a LHD, start by breaking off the negative cable from the battery. Take out the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. After that, remove the air cleaner housing. Disconnect the wire harness from the A/C pressure transducer on the A/C liquid line near the expansion valve and if it must be removed, take the transducer off. First, take off the nut locking the A/C suction line and A/C liquid line onto the expansion valve, then disconnect the lines from the valve. Remove the A/C liquid line from the suction line and free it from the two clips near the fender's right side. Take out the secondary retainer clip and, using the appropriate tool (Special Tool Kit 7193 or an equivalent), separate the A/C liquid line from the condenser tube. After that, remove the A/C line from the engine, discard the O-ring seals and either place plugs in or apply tape over the opened fittings on the expansion valve and condenser.
