2010 Jeep Liberty A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Detach the A/C Hose from a 3.7L Engine on 2010 Jeep Liberty?
A: Begin by disconnecting and cutting off the negative battery cable before removing the A/C discharge line from a 3.7L engine. Take out the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. After that, pull off the air cleaner housing. Next, remove the screw holding the A/C discharge line to the compressor, take it off the compressor and throw out the O-ring and gasket. Following this, get rid of the grille. Unscrew the nut that holds the A/C discharge line to the middle portion of the A/C condenser and then unwind the bolt that secures that condenser to the right side of the radiator. For cleaning, set the A/C condenser against the left side of the vehicle and take out the A/C discharge line from the condenser, throwing away the O-ring seal and gasket attached to the fitting on the discharge line. At the end, take out the discharge line from the engine area and add plugs or tape to the open fittings on the compressor and the condenser and discharge line.
