How to Safely Remove a Rear Shock Absorber on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To take out the rear shock absorber, first lift the vehicle and prop it up. After that, take off the mounting nuts and remove the rear tire and wheel. Put a jack or a replacement under the axle's middle and raise it so it can properly lift it. After that, remove the bolt, nut and washer holding the shock absorber at the lower end of the axle. Erase the final bolt at the upper bracket, inside the body and move out the shock absorber from your vehicle.
