The first thing to do is to disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable for the refrigerant pressure sensor/switch service. Following that, take the wire harness connector off from the HVAC pressure switch and remove the switch from the liquid line. Take the O-ring seal out of the liquid line fitting. For installation, place only the recommended O-ring and oil that come with R-134a. Clean a new O-ring with refrigerant oil and push it onto the fitting of the liquid line. Firmly attach the HVAC pressure switch to the A/C liquid line and link the wire harness connector to the switch. After that, attach the negative battery cable back to the battery.

Once that's done, link the wire harness connector (1) to the HVAC pressure switch and then reattach the negative battery cable.
