To take care of your condenser, evacuate the refrigerant from the system and remove the negative cable from the battery. Unscrew the front fascia and cut the lines of the automatic transmission cooler from the left of the A/C condenser. Install plugs in or cover the fitting ends and ports for the automatic transmission cooler with tape. After that, pull off the A/C discharge hose and the A/C liquid hose from the condenser and relocate the power steering fluid cooler so it's not in the way. Remove the receiver/drier from inside the A/C condenser and take out all four bolts that hold the A/C condenser to the
Radiator. Tilt the A/C condenser down at the bottom and lower it gently from underneath the vehicle. If you're replacing the A/C condenser, put 30 milliliters of oil specified for the AC compressor into the refrigerant after installing the condenser. Should you find that brackets are needed, put them onto the A/C condenser and then position the A/C condenser onto the radiator, connecting them with the four bolts tightened to 5 N.m. Finally, add the receiver/drier to the A/C condenser and the power steering fluid cooler to the A/C condenser. Bring the A/C discharge line and A/C liquid line to the condenser before removing any tape or plugs from the automatic transmission cooler and cooling lines and ports. Add the automatic transmission hoses to the colder ports at the top of the A/C condenser, fit the front fascia and return the negative
Battery Cable to its socket. Once these steps are done, empty your shop of fluids, Evans your refrigeration system and check or fill up the transmission fluid as necessary.
