How to Locate, Remove, and Install a Battery Sensor on Dodge Dakota?

There is a temperature sensor for the battery under the vehicle battery, attached to a hole in the battery tray. You should remove the battery as the initial step before you remove the sensor. After that, separate the front sensor's harness from the engine's harness which is clipped around the vehicle's electrical connector. Lift the sensor straight out of the hole it's positioned in on the battery tray. To install it, feed the harness bracket into the hole in the battery tray's top and snap the sensor into the hole in the tray's top surface. After connecting the harness, reinstall the battery following the correct guidelines.
