How Can the Canister Purge Valve Be Properly Installed and Removed for Optimal Function on Dodge Charger?

A right rear-mounted bracket holds the EVAP/Purge valve and it must be put on correctly for it to perform well. The first stage is to pull out the electrical connector from the valve, then disconnect the vacuum tubes from it and finally remove the valve from the bracket.

How to Locate, Remove, and Install a Canister Purge Valve on Dodge Ram 1500?

The EVAP Canister Purge Valve is found at the right inner fender which it is mounted to by a bracket. Remove the wiring connector, the vacuum harness and then take the valve out of the support bracket to remove it. Attach the valve assembly to the support bracket, put the vacuum harness in place and attach the wiring connector.
