Place Special Tool 8349-2 on the crankshaft rear face, then put the crankshaft rear oil seal onto the guide. Place the Special Tools 8349 crankshaft rear oil seal installer and the driver handle over the seal and tap the seal into place until it touches the cylinder block crankshaft bore with the installer. After that, install the flexplate and put in the transmission.
