Situate the left multi-function switch close by the attached bracket which is located on the Clock Spring's left side and join the jumper wire harness to the connector inside the switch case on the previous side of the assembly. Position the switch housing's slide tabs over the channel formations on the Clock Spring bracket and slide the switch into the bracket so it fits securely. Fasten the tab on the offering side of the switch to the bracket using screw 2 and tighten to 1 Nm (10 in. lbs.). Tighten the steering column shroud wires onto the switch housing and install the lower and upper steering shrouds. Once the testing is finished, return the negative battery cable to its clamp.
