  When servicing the heater control valve, begin by shutting off the negative Battery Cable and emptying part of the coolant from the engine's radiator. Detach the plug on the wire harness from the heater water valve and loosen the clamps around the hoses. Twist the valve to loosen the heater hoses gently. Remove the bolts holding the heater water valve bracket in place, then remove the bracket and pulsed water control valve from the space around the engine. Turn the bracket a bit to take out the water valve from the rubber mounts and in some cases, remove the mounts from either part. If the rubber mounts have been taken off, fit them onto the heater water valve or bracket for the installation. Move the bracket to the right a little and put the heater water valve on top of the weld, then return the valve and mounting bracket to their original place in the engine compartment. Attach the bracket by fastening the retaining bolts to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.) of force. Install the heater hoses onto the water valve by twisting them and make sure you tighten the hose clamps securely. Reconnect the wire harness connector to the water valve of the heater, link the negative battery cable to its terminal and refill your engine cooling system.

  First, remove the negative battery's cable and allow the engine cooling system to drain slightly. Unplug the wire harness connector from the heater water valve and free the hose clamps. Turn the heater hoses counterclockwise to take them off the valve. Lift the heater water valve bracket next, removing the bolts as you do so. After that, take the bracket and the pulsed water control valve out of the engine area. Just rotate the bracket a little to pull out the water valve from the rubber mounts and then you may have to detach the rubber mounts from either the bracket or the water valve. After installation has been done and if the old rubber mounts were removed, attach new ones to the heater water valve or bracket. Slide the steering bracket away from the motor shift and attach the water valve to it, before repeating this to install both parts back in their original place. Attach the assembly to the shaft with the two retaining bolts, tightened to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.). Screw the heater hose connections onto the water valve using the proper motion, making sure all clamps are tight. Plug the wire harness connector into the heater water valve, reattach the negative Battery Cable and fill the engine cooling system.
