Start by taking the battery negative cable out and isolating it to shut down the air bag system and afterward wait two minutes for the air bag system capacitor to drain. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system if the vehicle comes with air conditioning. To get to the blower motor, pull off the accumulator with your hand, remove the screw holding the retaining band around the accumulator and separate the accumulator inlet tube from the evaporator's outlet tube. Take out the three screws at the blower motor and wheel assembly, then disconnect the blower motor wire harness connector. Reattach the negative cable from the battery and, if your vehicle has an AC, empty and charge the refrigerant tank.
