To start the process, install the brake master cylinder, using a new gasket and tightening the nuts 8. Then, plug back in the brake fluid level cable connector which is number 7. After that, put the secondary brake line 6 onto the brake master cylinder, before you connect the primary brake line 6 to it as well. The next step is to fill and bleed the whole brake system.

How to Properly Install a Brake Master Cylinder Without Causing Leaks on Jeep Wrangler?

When installing the Brake Master Cylinder, first lubricate the new grommets (2) with clean brake fluid and install them in the reservoir outlets (1) with only finger pressure to assure they are correctly seated and then check for leaks. Next slip the reservoir (4) and grommets into the holes in the master cylinder and rock them back and forth while pressing down to seat them firmly with the four tabs engaging over the nubs (5). In the event the fluid level sensor (2) was removed insert it into the reservoir until tabs click, then reconnect electrical connector (3) to the Fluid Reservoir Level Switch. Lastly, take out the prop rod from the car and fill and bleed the base brake system.
