    To access the parking brake backing plate for servicing and repair, take off the wheel and tire assembly and then take off the disc brake caliper slide bolts and the rotor. Next, remove the wheel speed sensor and the axle flange nuts, before removing the axle shaft and the park brake shoes. Unofficial Longitudinal Beam Bracket Note that parking brake cable was not attached to the brake actuator lever. Next, remove this bolt to detach the bracket from the axle tube.
