Before removing the front wiper motor, you should disconnect and isolate the battery's negative cable. After that, unfasten both front wiper arms from their pivots and remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panel covering the wiper module at the front. To continue, disconnect the inboard nut of the front wiper module bracket from the stud in the cowl plenum and then remove the two screws on the other end of the bracket. Afterward, loosen the wire harness connector from the front wiper motor's connector. Next, take the wiper module out of the cowl plenum all at once.

Hold and turn the wiper motor crank arm with large channel-lock pliers so that it is even with the wiper motor armature and the ball stud is farthest from the motor. With three screws off, remove the wiper motor and crank arm as one unit from the motor mounting bracket.
