Before removing the rear seat cover, ensure the cable is not under tension by putting the seat correctly into position. At the beginning, lift out the 60/40 rear seat and put it on a clean work surface. After that, remove the bolt from the floor bracket, disconnect the cable and break the front brace bolts to take out the front legs from the cushion. Subsequently, part the
Seat Cushion cover and detach the surrounding cover for the cable to access the cable. Pull the seat cushion assembly off the pivot bolt on the floor bracket and detach the seat cover plastic retaining clips from the seat frame. With the seat frame uncovered and the cushion removed, fold the seat cover over to show the hog rings, snip them all out and remove the seat cover from the cushion last. To fit the 60 seat cushion, remove the 40 seat cushion, remove the pivot bolt from the floor bracket and then take out the seat bolt on the left side of the 60 seat. Unplug the seat from the seat back frame, detach the clips on the seat cushion cover and free the clips holding the recliner cable. Unscrew the bracket from the front of the cushion to separate the first row legs from it and then pull the seat cushion forward and out of the floor holder. Remove all of the remaining retaining clips from the seat frame, including the strap clips from the seat cushion frame and lift off the cover and cushion together. Simply fold the seat cover toward the back, remove all the hog rings and then carefully pull off the cover from the seat cushion.
