How to service an Oil Pressure Switch on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

First remove the negative battery cable when you are preparing to service the oil pressure sender. After that, use a hoist to raise the vehicle and take off the front splash shield. After that, cut off the oil pressure switch connector (4) and remove the pressure switch (2).

How to Install an Oil Pressure Switch on Jeep Wrangler?

Before fitting the oil pressure sender, connect and torque the oil pressure switch to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.). Subsequently, clip the electrical connector onto the switch, raise the vehicle back into place and fire up the engine to see if any leaks develop. In the end, verify the engine oil level and top it up if required.

First remove the negative battery cable when you are preparing to service the oil pressure sender. After that, use a hoist to raise the vehicle and take off the front splash shield. After that, cut off the oil pressure switch connector (4) and remove the pressure switch (2).

Before fitting the oil pressure sender, connect and torque the oil pressure switch to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.).
