Raise the vehicle and hold it steady before taking off the wheel and tire for hub service. Following this, take away the brake caliper, the caliper anchor, the rotor and the ABS wheel speed sensor. Unscrew the cotter pin, nut retainer and axle hub nut and then the hub bearing mounting bolts from the back of the steering knuckle. Lift the hub bearing from the end of the steering knuckle and from the axle. First, fit the hub bearing to the knuckle and tighten it with the hub bearing to knuckle bolts to a setting of 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Following this, fit the hub washer, then the hub nut, tightening it with a torque wrench to 237 Nm (175 ft. lbs.), put on the nut retainer and a new cotter pin. Slide the brake rotor, caliper anchor and caliper back in place, along with the ABS wheel speed sensor and then assemble the wheel and tire onto the car. Afterward, take out the support and gently lower the vehicle.
