How to Replace a Front Wheel Stud on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To install the front wheel stud, place the vehicle on supports, remove the wheel and tire and finally put the new stud in place. Following this, get rid of the brake caliper, caliper adapter and rotor. Unscrew the stud out of the hub by utilizing Remover C-4150-A. Start by fitting the new stud into the hub flange; put three washers on the stud and then the lug nut, flat edge up against the washers. Screw the nut clockwise until the stud firmly connects with the flange of the hub. After that, undo the lug nut and washers, next replace the brake rotor, caliper adapter and caliper in that order. After that, mount the wheel and tire onto the vehicle, using a new lug nut for removed studs and lift the vehicle by removing the support.

How to Properly Service and Repair a Front Wheel Stud on Jeep Wrangler?

Insert the front wheel stud into the back side of the hub flange to service the stud. After that, set the washers onto the stud and secure the lug nut with the flat side facing the washers. Ensure the face of the nut is square when it is tight and it is properly seated inside the hub flange. Following that, get rid of the lug nut and the small pieces called washers. Go ahead and place the brake rotor, caliper adapter and caliper. After that, attach the tire and wheel to your vehicle and use a new lug nut on the studs that were changed. After that, take away the support and drop the vehicle to the ground.
