Begin by raising the front wiper blade and arm by lifting the wiper arm and holding the blade off the windshield until the arm is over-center. Pull the latch release tab on the pivot block under the tip of the arm while shifting the blade towards the pivot point until it comes free from the shape on the blade's tip. Apply the hook formation on the front edge of the wiper arm, insert it through the opening beneath the blade superstructure and lower the hook tip onto the windshield. During installation, raise the wiper arm from the windshield so the hinge is in the over-center position, line up the wiper blade pad near the hook shape with the notched side facing the hinge and put the hook through the opening in the pad ahead of the pivot. Lock the pivot block into the latch formation, where you will hear a click and lower the blade and element onto the glass. Disengage the rear wiper from the rest of the system by removing the wiper blade while the arm is held up with the parking ramp. At the same time, push both latch release tabs together and slide the blade directly out of the arm receptacle.
